Product description

The DS-48 pulse counter is a universal panel counter with two inputs, equipped with two 4-digit LED displays (current value + target value). It can count, subtract, and process signals from mechanical switches, inductive PNP/NPN sensors, and incremental encoders. Due to the wide range of input and output functions, it is suitable for industrial automation systems, production lines, measuring stations, and process control.

Installation recommendations

• Use shielded and twisted signal cables, ground the shield

• Separate signal cables from power and supply cables

• Use a fuse F250 mA / 250 VAC on the power input

• Protect the equipment from moisture, vibrations, dust, and extreme temperatures

• For mechanical switches, it is recommended to set the input frequency to 20 Hz

• When using two inputs:

• Suitable frequency: Phs4 mode → max. ¼ of the input frequency

• Modes 1u2u, 1u2d, Phs2 → max. ½ of the input frequency
