Impact-sealed plastic enclosure with IP67 protection and mounting plate, Plastim (Turkey).

The plastic enclosure with IP67 protection has several important advantages, especially for use in demanding environments:

High protection against moisture and dust:

IP67 quality means the enclosure is completely dust-tight and resistant to short-term immersion in water up to 1 meter deep for 30 minutes, making it ideal for installation in damp or dusty locations—such as outdoors, in industrial areas, or near bodies of water.

Corrosion resistance:

Unlike metal plates, plastic is not subject to corrosion, which is especially valuable in aggressive environments—near the sea, in chemical plants, or in companies with high humidity.

Easy and simple installation:

The plastic enclosure is much lighter than metal, simplifying transport and installation, especially in hard-to-reach places.

Dielectric properties:

Plastic does not conduct electricity, which increases safety when working with electrical equipment and reduces the risk of short circuits.

UV resistance:

If special UV-resistant plastic is used, the protection retains its properties for a long time, even when constantly exposed to sunlight.
