Potenciometer je mogoče namestiti v standardne postaje za tipke (plastične ali aluminijaste) ali neposredno na krmilno ploščo/krmilno ploščo v luknjo premera 22 mm. Žice so povezane z vijačnim spojem, največji prečni prerez žice je 2,5 mm
