The three-phase phase monitoring relay FKV-14P is designed to protect three-phase electric motors and equipment from critical electrical network faults. It provides comprehensive monitoring of phase presence, phase failure, phase disturbance, asymmetry (fixed 40%), incorrect phase sequence, and excessive motor winding temperature. Equipped with a neutral conductor and designed for DIN rail mounting.

Operating principle

• Normal operation: if all three network voltages are present, phase sequence is correct, and winding temperature does not exceed limits, the relay energizes (contacts 15-18 closed) and LED OUT lights.

• Voltage fault or asymmetry: if the voltage of any phase deviates by more than 40%, contacts 15-18 open and contacts 15-16 close; LED OUT lights up.

• Phase sequence error: the relay responds by opening contacts and turning off the LED OUT.

• Winding temperature exceedance: the relay disconnects the output until the temperature returns to allowed limits.

• Automatic reset: After parameters normalize, the relay automatically returns to operating state.
